About the Little Hearts Book Series

Two Thousand Kisses a Day: Gentle Parenting Through the Ages and Stages is the first book in the Little Hearts Parenting Handbook series by L.R.Knost. Other books in the series that will be released in the coming months include Tots to Teens: Communication Through the Ages and Stages; Gentle Discipline: Tips, Tools & Techniques; and Gentle Parenting: A Christian Perspective.
The Wisdom For Little Hearts children’s book series weaves Gentle Parenting techniques into engaging, humorous picture books for children ages two to six.
Throughout the series, children will be exposed to households reflecting cultures from around the globe through rich illustrations depicting decor, clothing, and foods consistent with the book’s characters, while still focusing on common behavioral issues.
Natural, positive parenting concepts such as pregnancy, breastfeeding, babywearing, and cosleeping are subtly woven into the series to provide parents with conversation points to engage in with their children when a new baby is expected.
The series covers parenting issues such as listening, cooperation, tantrums, kindness, manners, and more. The first in the series, Petey’s Listening Ears, was released in 2011 with new releases scheduled for 2013 including Addie’s Little Big Voice, JoJo’s Gentle Hands, Zoey the Dreamer, and Poppy’s Smile.

ADDIE’S LITTLE BIG VOICE
Follow little Miss Addie as she shrieks, shouts, and squeals her way into one problem after another with her stuffed mouse, Pip, until her mommy and daddy step in with some silly games that help her learn to use her ‘Little Voice’!

JOJO’S GENTLE HANDS

Sweet little Zoey is a bit of a day-dreamer, which gets her and her ducky friend, Squish, into trouble as she forgets one thing after another until her mommy and daddy help her learn how to be a dreamer and a doer!

GRUMPYKINS
Grumpykins is a grumpy little monster. He’s grumpy even when he paints his best ever monsterpiece. He’s grumpy even when he gets his favorite waffles with monsterberry syrup for breakfast. But Grumpykins is lonely. He doesn’t have any friends. Come join Grumpykins as he learns that a thankful heart is a happy heart and making friends is as simple as a smile!
