I am thankful for traditions!
For me, tradition is synonymous with home and family. Whether it’s my personal home and family or my home country and people, our traditions define who we are, bind us together, and give us roots.
The knowledge, unity, and security that come from our traditions give us strength and courage,
and it is this strength and courage that fuel our ability to reach out to those in need, give mercy to those who have failed us, and accept those who differ from us.
This Thanksgiving, I give thanks for those customs and traditions who make us…US!
